Bonjour!

Or not because it's night here. But whatever. I've had a nice day off today, went to the beach, had some garlic mushroom salad for dinner and then went to for a long walk. Finished the the day off watching TV and eating popcorn. So now I'm ready for work again tomorrow! I'm opening the bar, which has apparently become a regular thing. The last couple of weeks I've been opening the bar 2-3 days, so now I'm mostly working nights in the weekend. That's actually pretty nice, because I seem to get a lot more done when I work daytime. And, I usually bring some yummy breakfast and eat it out on the balcony before getting started. A very relaxing way to begin the day.

Now I'm gonna try to get some sleep. But it's not easy going to sleep early now when I'm used to get home in the middle of the night/early morning and sleep in late. But I will do my best.

Two days ago I got to know that you can, in fact, have a wombat as a pet in Tasmania (and probably in Australia too). I was like ???really??? but I got picture proof as well and I can't really argue with that. So holding a wombat is definitely on my bucket list now.

Otherwise I'm still sick, my throat just won't give up even though I only lay home in bed all day and drink like a seriously big amount of tea. Tonight I also had horrible pain in my lower back so I couldn't sleep very good. I am living the dream over here! But tomorrow I'm working in the night and it's karaoke night so that's gonna be fun. Always nice to see drunk people that aren't yourself make a fool of themselves on stage.

Hey ho friends. Just got home from work and are currently lying in bed. My throat hurts so much right now, getting really tired of being sick!! At least I have two days off now so hopefully I'll get better. Feels like our trip so far has been haunted by colds that never goes away haha..

Today at my break at work I was sitting in an empty "room" / section thing to relax and reload when this guy comes up and starts talking. Like hello does it look like I want company???? "I've noticed you at the bar these last couple of days. You've been nice to me" he says. I'm like yeah you're my freaking CUSTOMER I have no interest what so ever to be friends with you outside the bar!!!!!!! Seriously my break at work is holy and if you interrupt that you're forever on my enemy list. Sorry dude. Another guy came up to me in the bar and said I make the "best gin and tonics ever". Thank you so much mixing gin and tonic is definitely my speciality. I'm super honored. There's some real talent and practicing behind that I tell you. And this one guy today just came up and gave me a 5$. I was like what do you want??? And he stared pointing at like everything in the bar I was like ?????what do you want??? and he pointed at a glass I was like ?????? and then he gave me a one dollar coin. He got water. Haha I complain so much about customers but I know I'm even worse when I'm drunk lol.

So yesterday was such a slow day at work. I worked down at the sub club (a club downstairs from joint) and I'm not even kidding when I say that it was like 10 people there. Me and my collegue tried to entertain ourselves in different ways, for example playing some dot game and write our names with the wrong hand. I also got to make us a shot that was very appreciated. I'm learning! Yay!

Anyways, afterwards we decided to get drunk because of reasons, unfortunately I got waaay too drunk and got home at maybe 7? Before that we went to the hostel and ate their breakfast. I feel bad, because I got mad at a guy because I thought he took my toast, when it was actually his and mine was on the floor. Lols.

So tonight I'm working at cq, so it will prooobs be way more busy than yesterday. And a whole other crowd as well. Just saying, people going to cq are often quite wealthy and can be a bit snobby, and sub club is just.... nothing like that at all.

I don't think I will really do much today, I would need to go grocery shopping though. I also wanna buy a new phone, mostly because mine is so bad taking photos with, but it's also gotten slower and stuff. I might so that if I can find the energy haha.

Hello there my loved and not loved (I dunno who you are sooo) readers! As the headline said I'm eating pesto pasta for dinner, like most days when I try to cook in our tiny kitchen. Other stuff I've cooked here:
-Tortilla pizza (actually delicious)
-Tacos/enchiladas
-Sizzle steak (lövbiff) with mushroom sauce
Hmm yeah that's pretty much it. But I usually eat a lot of vegetables so that's good.

Tonight I start working at 8. This week has mostly been about work because I only have one day off. But that's OK, had the best time at tha staff party and Australia day. I still think it's amazing all three of us happened to have that day off. And it was like 30 degrees as well so it was incredibly nice. Yesterday we watched a scary movie at a friends place, The awakening. One of the better horror movies I've seen so I totally recommend it to all of you who like that kind of movies.

Last week me and matilda went and saw The 5th wave and omg it was so good. A must see movie I'd say.

Feels like England over here, 3rd day with rain today! So Olivia and I decided to go to ikea and get some lunch and update our stock of Swedish food. After some frikkin delicious salmon we got faced with the brutal truth that IKEA DIDNT HAVE ANY CAVIAR. Like the worst days since we got here to Melbourne. So the now sad and depressed two took the tram home and went for a 2h nap instead.

PS Olivia thinks tuna sweet corn and mayonnaise sounds like a weird combo but I think it sounds good so fu Olivia.

Hey ppls! So long since I write last time but I've been waiting for our wifi to start working again. It hasn't though so I thought what the hell and yeah now I'm writing anyways obviously. This app is unfortunately not really world class so I'm kind of frustrated. Plus my phone is a mess (really need to get a new one asap).

A lot has happened since I wrote last time so here's a short list:
- spend Christmas at crown hotel with das family
- did great ocean road in ONE day
- spend New Years working
- partying a lot hehe no surprise there
- been doing karaoke 2 times and fuck yeah it's awesome. From now on we're having karaoke at joint bar on Tuesdays so it's gonna happen again
- had a work party with free alcohol and my god that's not good for me. Afterwards me and Matilda got so much food from the restaurant next door to our apartment, I didn't even know what I was ordering I just went for it haha
- been doing some road trips and camping
- celebrated Australia Day in the harbor where they had food, DJs, and totally unexpected a metal band who was at our total surprise really really good. And they had an amazing firework which was awesome.
- I have now almost learned the difference between am and pm!

I'm sorry if the English in this text is really bad but it's 01.38 and I'm in bed not able to sleep. It may have to do with the fact that I was in bed until 4 pm.

Haha I could just keep on writing forever, so much happens here and I'm just having total abstinence because of my lack of writing since I came to Australia. God damn I love to write. Need to get this blog thing going again so I don't need to write this much every time. Omg I wish I had a computer to write on. A serious advice to all people going to Aus - bring a frikkin laptop. Would be possible though to by a keyboard to our iPad but that would probably be really expensive since all apple products are -.- .

Gonna try go to sleep now. I'm so sorry for the long post.

I'm sooo sorry for the super bad (non existing ) updates recently. Nothing special has really happened during this time, just normal everyday adventures. One day I went to a festival alone. Check!

So yesterday the owner of joint bar invited all his staff from all his venues to a party. I had the best time! Because I work both at cq and joint I knew a lot of people there. It was free drinks and food, I don't think I had to buy a single drink for myself even though we went out to other clubs afterwards. Managed to spend like 80 dollars anyways lol, haha don't know where they went. I ended up crashing at a friends place before I got home around midday today.

Today is australian day eve and we have a special event at joint, so of course I'm working! Hopefully there will be a lot of people and heeps of fun! Tomorrow im off but I have no plans so far.

Joint bar gang! Just a shame not everybody could come.
